Job Description

Position is for a Software Developer (internal title: Technical Lead) responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level software applications for corporate clients. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Analyzing requirements and user stories from the business to support design activities, including tracking stories using Jira tool, conducting impact analysis, and identifying appropriate components and modules; Managing the technical aspects of software development for assigned applications; Assessing technical impact of new requirements on any existing components and modules to determine effort required to seamlessly incorporate the changes; Writing code, testing code, and coordinating with other teams for timely delivery; Designing and building integration components by creating integration between different software layers like User Interface, Middleware and Backend capabilities as well as integration of the systems for proper data flow; perform system testing that validates the complete and fully integrated software product; Deploying software application using Topaz and Service Now incidents; Identifying the correct deployment scripts, continuous integration servers, and automated deployment tools for given projects; Performing data creation for regression testing and performance testing using JMeter, Insomnia and Postman.
Job Site: Employee is permitted to work remotely from his or her home residence, but will at times be required to travel to various unanticipated jobsites within the United States.

Credentials Needed

Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science and 1 year of experience. Experience as a Technology Lead is acceptable, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof. In lieu of a Master's Degree, will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 5 years of experience, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof.
