What is an internship signage wayfinding designer?

Internship Signage Wayfinding Designers are entry-level or student professionals who assist in creating visual systems that help people navigate buildings or public spaces. They typically work under the guidance of senior designers to develop signs, maps, and symbols that make navigation easier and more intuitive. These interns often collaborate with architects, graphic designers, and urban planners, gaining hands-on experience in environmental graphic design and user experience. Their work is essential in ensuring that signage is clear, accessible, and effectively guides people through complex environments.
