Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive growth for our semiconductor inspection and metrology business supporting customers in China. This role combines strategic account leadership, business development, and market strategy to increase technology adoption, expand market share, and strengthen executive-level customer relationships. The successful candidate will partner closely with customers, engineering, product management, and sales teams to align market needs with KLA's technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for key semiconductor customers.
  • Build relationships with customer executives, engineering leaders, and manufacturing teams.
  • Drive technology adoption, revenue growth, and market-share expansion.
  • Lead business reviews, customer engagements, and commercial negotiations.
  • Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and customer investment priorities.
  • Influence product strategy through customer and market insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support successful customer evaluations and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Direct experience in semiconductor inspection, defect review, or metrology equipment is required.
  • Experience in business development, strategic account management, product marketing, or technical sales.
  • Demonstrated success growing strategic semiconductor accounts and driving technology adoption.
  • Strong executive communication, business planning, and commercial leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting semiconductor customers in China.
  • Experience with optical inspection, e-beam inspection, defect review, CD metrology, overlay metrology, or process control technologies.
  • Mandarin language skills are a plus.
