Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Screen Printing Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and operating screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed designs on various substrates. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of graphic design principles, color theory, and printing techniques, with the ability to collaborate with designers and production staff to ensure accurate and vibrant print results.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate screen printing machinery efficiently, ensuring precise registration and color matching.
  • Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing, maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers.
  • Adjust print settings based on artwork specifications, substrate type, and desired effects.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Perform quality control checks on printed products to ensure color accuracy, sharpness, and overall quality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to screen printing equipment or print quality. .
  • Follow safety protocols and best practices for handling inks, chemicals, and machinery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in screen printing or related graphic arts fields is preferred.
  • Knowledge of art direction, typography, color theory, visual design principles, and layout design.
  • Strong understanding of print advertising, illustration techniques, interior or production design is advantageous.
