This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role designed for an early-career engineer to join a strategic growth initiative focused on a new Robotics & Vision product category. - Cross-Functional Liaison: Direct interaction with Product Management, R&D, and global factory teams to provide feedback on product performance and customer needs.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues involving robot controllers, power electronics, and vision sensors.
- Market Development: Help shape the support structure for a new product category, ensuring robotics and vision solutions are trusted and effectively implemented in the field.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or similar) is REQUIRED.
- Experience Level: 0-3 years of relevant experience (Internships and Co-ops highly valued).
- Robotics: Demonstrable exposure to SCARA robots and robot controllers.
- Vision Systems: Foundational knowledge of 2D vision systems.
- Programming: Proficiency in any modern programming language (C++, Python, Java, or PLC logic).
- Electrical: Practical exposure to power electronics.
- Exposure to 6-Axis or Collaborative (Cobots) robots.
- Familiarity with 3D vision systems and industrial networking protocols.
- Experience with 0-3 years in a customer-facing or field service environment.
- Customer-Centric Personality: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
