Job description

Come join our growing team as a Sales Associate and help drive business growth while developing your skills in the construction and access solutions industry within (list territory).
Responsibilities:
  • Support prospecting efforts for bid opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, mechanical contractors.
  • Use Salesforce to identify, track, and document opportunities, activities, and pipeline updates.
  • Review and qualify incoming leads and ensure accurate entry into Salesforce.
  • Participate in customer meetings and job site visits to gather information required for pricing and proposals.
  • Assist with site visits to collect measurements and project details necessary to prepare quotes.
  • Support the preparation of equipment and material lists, labor estimates, freight requirements, and other pricing inputs using SafQuote.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers, Construction Managers, and contracts teams to move opportunities through the sales and contracting process.
  • Coordinate with Project Controls to ensure accurate billing and timely capture of change orders.
  • Support project kickoff activities to help ensure alignment between sales commitments and field execution.
  • Assist with prequalification documentation to help secure bidder list placements with new customers.
  • Identify potential cross-selling or upsell opportunities across the full portfolio of access and specialty solutions.
  • Provide weekly activity and pipeline updates to Sales Leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Sales, Marketing, Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Internship, co-op, or early career experience in construction, industrial services, or B2B sales preferred.
  • Strong interest in construction, access solutions, and technical sales.
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings, estimating, or project coordination is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Willingness to visit job sites and work in active construction environments
