Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating and setting up helicoid rolling equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery and staying active throughout the shift.

Pay: Based on experience!

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain quality standards
  • Read and interpret work orders and production tickets
  • Set up and operate helicoid rolling machines
  • Adjust rolls, feeders, and catchers for proper operation
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to speed, pressure, and alignment
  • Ensure products meet specifications (diameter, pitch, thickness)
  • Load materials using overhead lifting equipment
  • Use tools such as air shear and cutting torch as needed
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Bundle, tag, and prepare materials for shipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus
  • Ability to work with moderate to heavy materials
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
