  • Help review student submissions such as goal-setting documents, reflections, and final deliverables.
2. Student Preparation & Training Programming

  • Develop various resources for students navigating internships for the first time.
  • Provide small-group or drop-in support for students preparing application materials on an as scheduled basis.
  • Conduct classroom outreach or information sessions introducing internship resources for all 3 academic divisions, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration.
3. Event Planning & External Relations
  • Support the logistical planning, execution, and evaluation of major Career Center events.
  • Collaborate with campus partners and Career Center staff on event operations such as venue booking, catering, technology setups, registration tracking, and day-of coordination.
  • Assist with design and implementation of event marketing strategies to maximize student attendance and employer participation.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to cultivate new internship sites and employer partnerships aligned with various academic programs.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating opportunity database (Symplicity) and CSM platform to streamline employer communications.

  • Support outreach that ensures international students feel included in experiential learning opportunities.
5. Data Tracking & Assessment
  • Maintain participation records and assist with data collection on both internship engagement and event attendance in support of BOG guidelines.
  • Support evaluation efforts through post-event and post-course surveys, reporting, and feedback analysis.
