Job description

Hedgeye Risk Management is seeking undergraduate students to join our Summer 2027 Research Internship Program. This program offers the opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in investment research within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Interns work directly with sector research teams, contributing to the research process through data and statistical analysis, independent projects, information synthesis, financial modeling, and drafting of reports. The program is designed to help interns integrate into the research process, deepen their understanding of how we combine fundamental and quantitative macro views with sector- and company-specific analysis, and strengthen their analytical and critical thinking skills.

Over the course of ten weeks, interns work in the office full-time, Monday through Friday, at our Stamford, CT headquarters. In addition to day-to-day responsibilities with their assigned sector team, interns attend workshops covering career and industry-related topics and receive mentorship and guidance from the broader research team. At the conclusion of the program, each intern delivers a final stock pick presentation assigned by their research team, serving as an opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have developed throughout the internship.
Salary range is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current undergraduate junior with an expected graduation date in 2028 (preferred)

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with financial modeling

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python (preferred)

  • Adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
