We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer who's ready to do more than just build pipelines on Databricks and AWS. You will help shape enterprise analytics strategy, influence architecture, and partner directly with the business to drive smarter decisions.

Responsibilities
Whatย You'llย Be Doingย
- Design and lead enterprise-gradeย pipelines,ย supportingย bothย batchย andย streamingย data processing;ย
- Own the full ETL/ELT lifecycle,ย from designย throughย production support;ย
- Driveย data engineeringย standards, best practices, and architecture across the data ecosystem;ย
- Translate businessย requirementsย into scalable, high-performanceย dataย solutions;ย
- Mentor a small team whileย remainingย hands-on; andย
- Ensure data reliability, performance, governance, and cost optimization.ย
Qualifications
- 10+ yearsย ofย IT experience, including deepย expertiseย in data engineering & ETL;ย
- 4-6+ย years of recent hands-on experienceย inย designing,ย building, and scalingย data pipelines;ย
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) and AWS (S3, IAM, networking);ย
- A passion for continued learning and an interestย in staying current with the rapidly evolving data and analytics space;ย ย ย
- Experience working in anย Agile analyticsย environment where close collaboration with key stakeholdersย to addressย evolving requirementsย is the norm;ย
- Expertiseย in SQL, Python, data modeling, and distributed processing;ย
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern data architecture (lakehouse, medallion, etc.); andย ย
- Strong communicationย skillsย and the abilityย to translateย complex technical concepts intoย solutions that deliverย businessย outcomes.ย
