Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and evaluate patients’ mental health needs, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to formulate individualized care plans.
• Regularly monitor and document each patient's progress, employing evidence-based interventions tailored to support their unique therapeutic journey.
• Prepare and maintain accurate treatment records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop and modify comprehensive treatment plans that reflect patient goals and cultural sensitivities.
• Coordinate care by referring patients to relevant treatment providers and resources, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Educate and mentor students, interns, and newcomers within the clinical setting, contributing to their professional development and integration into the team.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the skills and practices of team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals and families affected by substance abuse and related mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of recovery, helping to reduce symptoms, improve coping strategies, and ultimately foster resilience. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical mental health setting focusing on outpatient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and demonstrated ability to implement these in client care.
• Previous experience in a role that involves mentoring or supervising interns or peers.
