As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Valley View Medical Clinic, you will:

• Conduct therapeutic sessions with couples, offering both joint and individual counseling to address relationship dynamics.
• Manage treatment plans that include diverse issues such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological trauma, grief and loss, and family conflicts.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to assist clients in navigating separation, divorce, adjustment issues, and blended family dynamics.
• Engage in collaborative treatment with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to confidentiality and legal standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including providing supervision to interns or other staff as needed.

You will primarily work with diverse populations, including adults, children, and adolescents, providing specialized care tailored to their unique situations. This role supports families facing challenges such as conflict resolution, mental health crises, and major life transitions, ensuring that personalized therapy fosters a positive impact on clients’ lives.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
