Job description

As the Senior Public Relations Manager, you will own the media strategy and execution across the U.S. and Israel while partnering directly with the Head of Global Communications to build the PR function from the ground up. You will establish category authority for Axonius across asset intelligence, exposure management, and AI security by constructing comprehensive PR programs. This role requires utilizing AI tools as a standard workflow component to increase productivity, while applying expert judgment to ensure high-quality output.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the company narrative forward by securing media coverage for news and announcements, and thought leadership opportunities. Partner directly with the CEO to establish his platform with the media.
  • Develop and execute PR activities by partnering with the leadership team, and Product, Partner, Public Sector, and Customer Marketing teams.
  • Build foundational PR assets, including a crisis communications playbook.
  • Establish and maintain measurable KPIs for the PR function in partnership with the Head of Global Communications.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of professional communications experience. This experience must include building PR programs from the ground up, managing PR agency relationships to ensure their success, and executing plans across multiple PR disciplines.
  • Proven track record of securing media coverage in business, security, tech, channel, and Washington D.C. outlets across online, broadcast, and new media.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; strong program and project management instincts; comfort operating with autonomy and ambiguity; you can partner credibly with the leadership team including the CEO.
  • Active, fluent use of AI tools, specifically including Anthropic Claude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional communications experience within a high-growth B2B technology or cybersecurity environment.
  • Prior experience working with Israeli media, including familiarity with its specific press culture, publication landscape, and journalistic norms.
  • Documented experience developing and tracking PR measurement KPIs alongside global communications leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience managing crisis communications situations; implementing new storytelling methods with media outlets.
