The Senior Consultant of Payment Model Operations will manage day to day operational efforts for payment model implementation contracts, including participant onboarding, participant management and communications, help desk operations, and monitoring and compliance activities.

Working collaboratively with senior leaders and cross functional teams across the organization, the Senior Consultant will deliver exceptional client service, produce high quality, timely deliverables, and drive innovation across the market.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, daylight shift in your time zone

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage, develop, and sustain client relationships through policy consultation, strategic guidance, and thought leadership
  • Manage end-to-end operational functions for value-based care initiatives, including help desk management, participant onboarding, stakeholder communications, monitoring, and compliance oversight, to ensure efficient implementation and sustained program performance
  • Support analyses to monitor performance and continuously improve operational activities
  • Mentor and develop staff to strengthen technical, analytical, and problem solving capabilities
  • Ensure consistently high standards of accuracy, quality control, and attention to detail across all deliverables
  • Collaborate effectively as a senior member of multidisciplinary project teams
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors
  • Support business development and growth activities, including capture and proposal response

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in a research, consulting, or business environment 
  • 6 years of relevant health policy industry experience in healthcare consulting, program implementation, quality improvement, evaluation, and/or policy expertise
  • 4 years experience with CMS/CMMI Value-based Model Operations/Implementation payment initiatives supporting operational and/or compliance/monitoring activities
  • Demonstrated experience in cross contractor coordination, managing subcontractors, and leading cross-functional project teams
  • Experience supporting business development efforts, including capture strategies and contributing to proposal development
  • Broad understanding of federal health policy issues, with ability to work in multiple areas serving as a subject matter expert
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to non-technical audiences

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
