This position is based primarily in a supported, climate-controlled remote setting that facilitates effective communication and collaboration among healthcare providers. Our LCSW will engage with multidisciplinary teams within a hospice center, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Daily responsibilities may involve virtual meetings and consultations with colleagues to provide integrated mental health services.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status and diagnose based on criteria outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the diverse cultural backgrounds and special needs of patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to anticipate patient outcomes and drive progress in mental health treatment.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of treatment records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical standards.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients and their families, facilitating the development of comprehensive treatment goals and objectives.
• Coordinate care by linking patients to additional treatment resources, ensuring seamless integration of services.
• Engage in continuous assessment of patients' progress, providing interventions and support as necessary to promote mental health recovery.
• Mentor and provide educational support to interns, students, and volunteers, contributing to the growth of future mental health professionals.
• With oversight from clinical supervision, participate in peer review processes and team development initiatives.

This role specifically targets individuals and families who are navigating the emotional and psychological challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis. As part of our team, the LCSW will employ clinical expertise to offer tailored therapeutic interventions that address the unique needs of this sensitive patient population, guiding them through their healing journey.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Previous experience providing mental health services to cancer patients or within a hospice care setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and multidisciplinary teamwork is advantageous.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient care.

This rewarding position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
