This position offers the unique benefit of a remote work setting, enabling Licensed Clinical Social Workers to perform their duties in a comfortable and climate-controlled home environment. Although remote, you will still engage regularly with a team of healthcare professionals through virtual meetings and collaboration platforms. Interaction with colleagues from various disciplines, including medical staff, is to be expected, as we aim to provide integrated care for our patients.

• Assess and diagnose patient needs utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to create targeted, individualized treatment plans.
• Continually evaluate patient progress, interventions, and strategies, making adjustments as necessary to align with mental health diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate treatment records, documents, and clinical information using electronic health record systems in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to establish comprehensive treatment plans that consider cultural diversity and specific patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available resources.
• Coordinate referrals and serve as a vital link between patients and external treatment providers or agencies.
• Mentor and educate students, interns, and volunteers in the field of social work, fostering the growth of future mental health professionals.
• Engage in team-based peer reviews and clinical collaborations to enhance overall departmental efficiency and patient outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on patients facing the emotional, psychological, and social challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis. This vulnerable population requires thoughtful and empathetic support as they navigate their treatment journeys, making your role pivotal not only in treatment but in fostering resilience and hope.

• A Master's degree in Social Work is required, with a focus on clinical practice preferred.
• Possession of a current State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and the ability to apply them in therapeutic settings.

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy, particularly with patients facing chronic illnesses or mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with cancer care and the psychosocial aspects of illness management would be advantageous.

The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus that reflects our commitment to securing top talent.
