• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and ongoing follow-up care for clients, ensuring an understanding of their varied needs.
• Determine and coordinate appropriate levels of care for patients, facilitating transitions and ensuring continuity in treatment.
• Prepare and submit all statistical and clinical documentation as required, ensuring compliance with governmental and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the Department of Corrections to maximize patient accessibility, ensuring proper housing and tailored treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with other institutional programs and community resources to develop an integrated support network for all patients.
• Lead group therapy sessions in mental health observation units, focusing on interventions that foster resilience and coping strategies among participants.
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance your skills and seek guidance on challenging cases.
• Engage in clinical rounds and case conferences, contributing insights and strategies to treatment plans for individuals receiving mental health services.
• Conduct psychological testing as needed, with a keen eye for identifying diagnostic nuances that inform treatment approaches.
• Mentor social work interns and/or student volunteers, enriching their learning experiences while contributing to team development.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong understanding of mental health assessments, crisis intervention strategies, and therapeutic methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively articulate client needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience in community mental health settings or with underrepresented populations enhances your candidacy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.
• Prior experience in group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention is favorable.
