• Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, diagnoses of patients, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to formulate individualized treatment plans that respect cultural and personal diversity.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and effectiveness of mental health interventions, adjusting treatment plans and strategies as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems while complying with all regulatory and organizational guidelines.
• Engage in comprehensive collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to co-create treatment goals and interventions that address specific needs.
• Actively work to ensure patient safety, anticipate potential challenges, and facilitate timely intervention strategies aimed at symptom reduction.
• Coordinate referrals and foster strong relationships with other healthcare providers and community resources to enhance the treatment experience for patients.
• Provide mentorship and education to students, interns, and volunteers, sharing knowledge and clinical best practices.
• Participate in peer-review processes, including collaboration and mentorship with team members under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The individuals you will support range from adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing different backgrounds, cultures, and needs. You will be expected to approach each case with empathy and a deep understanding of the unique factors influencing mental health, including socio-economic status, family dynamics, and cultural considerations.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Demonstrated capacity to provide effective mental health care, incorporating an understanding of human development, aging processes, and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with exceptional ability to communicate effectively with both patients and team members.
• Commitment to ethical practices and professional standards within the mental health field.

While clinical experience of 6 months to 1 year in a health or mental health setting is preferred, we encourage candidates with unique perspectives or non-traditional backgrounds to apply. Experience in telehealth or remote therapy delivery is a plus, given the nature of our work environment.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
