The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will operate in a climate-controlled, full-time remote setting that allows flexibility while ensuring a productive work atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals through technology-driven communication tools, fostering a connected and supportive team dynamic.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose patients when necessary and evaluate the effectiveness of mental health care using clinically appropriate tools like the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, taking into account cultural diversity and the unique needs of each patient.

• Monitor patient progress continually and provide evidence-based interventions to support mental health diagnoses, including therapeutic strategies tailored to each case.

• Prepare, maintain, and submit all required clinical documentation and treatment records accurately and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.

• Assist patients and their families in developing comprehensive treatment plans aimed at achieving meaningful health outcomes, while remaining proactive in addressing patient safety and symptom management.

• Facilitate collaboration between patients and other healthcare providers, coordinating referrals and establishing effective working relationships with other clinicians and referral agencies.

• Provide educational guidance and mentorship to students, interns, residents, and volunteers to foster professional development within the clinical environment.

• Engage in peer reviews, clinical collaborations, and chart audits as directed by supervisory staff to foster team development and enhance service delivery.

This role emphasizes a client-focused approach, primarily serving individuals and families affected by cancer. As an LCSW in our community health clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population, drawing upon evidence-based practices to address their unique mental health challenges and support their journey toward emotional and psychological wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical social work setting is required, familiarity with cancer-related mental health issues and outpatient therapy modalities is highly advantageous. This experience helps to ensure effective patient care and the ability to empathize deeply with clients' situations.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
