The work environment is a climate-controlled office setting where you will engage in daily interactions with department members and various healthcare providers. As a Remote LCSW, you will have the flexibility to deliver therapy from your own environment while ensuring steady communication and collaboration with your team.

• Assess, diagnose, and evaluate each patient’s mental health status using appropriate tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, to develop personalized care plans.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, implementing effective interventions and strategies tailored to meet their evolving mental health needs.
• Effectively document treatment records, reports, and clinical information with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Work collaboratively with patients and their families to establish comprehensive treatment plans that reflect their goals and cultural backgrounds.
• Coordinate with referral networks, acting as a vital link between patients and other treatment providers to facilitate seamless care.
• Provide education and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, fostering a culture of learning within our organization.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to peer reviews, clinical collaboration, and chart auditing to uphold high standards of care and support colleague development.

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families impacted by cancer, a population that can experience profound mental health challenges due to the emotional and psychological toll of their diagnoses. As an LCSW, you will utilize evidence-based practices to support these patients through tailored therapeutic interventions, addressing not just their mental health but also their emotional and familial dynamics.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Experience in oncology or familiarity with healthcare settings that address chronic illness and its impact on mental health is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates with backgrounds in community health services or integrative care approaches will find this role rewarding.
