Join Cincinnati Children's Information Services as an IS Project Manager II - Digital Health and help lead innovative technology initiatives that advance the future of pediatric healthcare. In this role, you will manage complex projects from initiation through completion, partnering with clinical, operational, and technical teams to deliver solutions that improve patient care, enhance the caregiver experience, and strengthen organizational outcomes. Supporting ourWeb Services, Software Engineering,Integration Services, andCustomer Relationship Management portfolios,you will play a key role in driving strategic digital health initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams across one of the nation's leading pediatric healthcare organizations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Workflow
  • Facilitate the process of workflow analysis and improvement.
  • Enable groups to define and understand their current workflows andidentifyareas for improvement or redesign.
  • Coordinateappropriate technical/applicationresources to provide a thorough understanding ofsynthesisof changes to systems and processes.
  • Understand the complexity of change management in a large academic health care institution and guide groups to evaluate options that are meaningful and possible.
Project Management
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and activities.
  • Facilitate the maintenance of issue lists, build and decision documentation, meeting minutes, agendas, and status reports as well as other tools crucial to project success.
  • Facilitate cross-functional work teams that include internal employees, technical support, operations personnel, vendor consultants, clinicians, hospitaladministrationand end users.
  • Provide regular project updates and status reports for IS management and ensuretimelyescalation of issues when necessary.
Customer Service
  • Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided; adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures.
  • Model outstanding customer service behavior, includingtimelyand effective follow-up with customers.
  • Always maintain CCHMC's service standards of being Courteous, Attentive, Respectful and Enthusiastic team members, and Safe (CARES).
  • All other duties as assigned.
Process Improvement
  • Facilitate the process of technology analysis and improvement.
  • Haveabilityto enable groups to define and understand their current technology profile and their future needs.
  • Work with IS technical resources to define technical criteria for selection of vendor solutions and coordinatevendorselection process.
  • Acquiredomain knowledgein order tofacilitatethe identification and understanding of key project requirements and issues.
  • Recruit expert resources to ensurestate of the arttechnology is presented and evaluated.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, ora relatedfield;Master'sdegree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience managing technology projects within a healthcare, academic medical center, or other highly regulated environment.
  • Experience leading enterprise software implementations, upgrades, or system optimization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Epicand/orotherdigital health technologies.
  • Experienceutilizingproject management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities whilemaintainingquality and timelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering with executive leadership, clinical teams, operational departments, and technical teams.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with organizational change management, process improvement, and workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) as they relate to technology projects.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, statements of work (SOWs), contract deliverables, and implementation partners.
  • Demonstrated ability toidentifyproject risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or patient engagement initiatives.
