Job description

Service Cloud Developer

Collinwood, one of Salesforce's newest Partners, is seeking a Service Cloud Developer who has experience working with the Public Sector Solution (PSS). We have multiple engagements underway where we can work with a person who has these skills and experiences. One effort is completely remote working for an East Coast PubSec client, and another effort would require you to live in the Indianapolis area (relocation is acceptable too). These positions are open to W2 Hourly, W2 Salary, and Independent Contractors (we are not working with new 3rd parties at this time).

Must Have Skills:

  • Salesforce Service Cloud REQUIRED
  • Salesforce PSS (Public Sector Solutions) experience HIGHLY NEEDED
  • Salesforce Development experience, including APEX, Lightning, Triggers. etc. Key Responsibilities Software Development
  1. Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools
  2. Build integrations with government systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  3. Implement Public Sector Solutions features and customizations
  4. Write clean, efficient code that operates within governor limits
  5. Create unit tests and maintain code coverage standards
  6. Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions

Technical Contribution

  1. Collaborate with senior developers and architects on solution design
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  3. Contribute to technical documentation and best practices
  4. Support deployment activities and release management
  5. Work closely with the QA team to ensure quality deliverables
  6. Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities

Platform Development

  1. Build custom Lightning Web Components for government use cases
  2. Develop Flow Builder solutions for business process automation
  3. Implement data models and sharing rules
  4. Work with Experience Cloud for public-facing applications
  5. Support integration development and testing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I, Administrator, Service Cloud (A must) )
  • Salesforce PSS Consultant Certification is a Plus
  • Experience with Government Cloud or Public Sector Solutions
  • Knowledge of government compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Understanding of Salesforce security best practices
