Interns typically assist law enforcement agencies or private organizations by collecting, interpreting, and visualizing data to help solve crimes or improve public safety strategies. These internships often involve using specialized software, conducting research, and preparing reports, all while collaborating remotely with supervisors and team members. They provide valuable exposure to the criminal justice field and help interns build relevant analytical and technical skills. Many remote crime analyst internships are flexible and can be completed alongside academic commitments.
