Work Environment

The work environment is primarily remote, utilizing a climate-controlled office setting. Despite the remote nature of the role, regular interaction occurs with department members and other healthcare providers via telecommunication and virtual collaboration tools. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health status of patients, employing diagnostic tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to inform individualized care plans.

• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring the consideration of cultural diversity and specific patient needs throughout the process.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatment records, reports, and clinical information, using the latest technology in compliance with regulatory standards and department procedures.

• Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans that outline clear goals and desired outcomes for recovery.

• Administer interventions and strategies aimed at promoting mental health and ensuring patient safety—a critical aspect of care during therapy sessions.

• Serve as a liaison to coordinate referrals for additional services, establishing productive relationships with other clinicians and treatment providers to enhance the patient's continuous care experience.

• Engage in educational initiatives by mentoring students, interns, and volunteers, thereby fostering a culture of growth and learning within the mental health field.

• Participate in peer review and clinical discussions under supervision, sharing insights that promote individual and team professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with cancer patients or within palliative care settings is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment while managing a diverse caseload.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment planning approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000.
