Airgas is Hiring for a Distribution Manager in North Las Vegas, NV!

The Distribution Manager coordinates the daily delivery of product to the customers at the optimal and sustainable cost of distribution, taking into account legal & operational constraints (compliance with local transportation regulations; product availability; availability of vehicles & drivers...). Provide transport drivers with the planned route, including the loading & unloading points.
  • Facilitate sales transactions and coordinate product supply, including monitoring shipping volume, coordinating with logistics coordinators, communicating supply planning to customers, and supporting supply chain improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals related to safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory through ERP transactions, monitor demand and inventory levels, anticipate supply risks, calculate forecast accuracy, receive and support orders, provide visibility on inventory status, and monitor supply risks.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, work cross-functionally to achieve goals, and identify logistics bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate Bulk distribution to clients and filling centers, ensure optimal inventory levels at clients and plants, and perform demand or consumption analysis.
  • Ensure activity monitoring: Analyze, guide, and optimize costs to maintain vehicle efficiency, optimizing routes and frequencies. Contribute to the formation of budgets. Ensure monitoring of key efficiency indicators.
  • Perform accurate and relevant data analysis and recommend collaborative adjustments.

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma in chemical/Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ yrs experience of Industrial Experience (Operations or Maintenance management)
  • 3-5+ yrs experience of project management.

The annual base salary range for this position in Nevada is $94,000/yr. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Airgas considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
