What You'll Do
- Listen to German audio recordings and review corresponding transcripts for accuracy
- Correct errors at the word level - including misspellings, missing words, incorrect words, and misheard phrases
- Verify and adjust precise timing and alignment of transcript segments
- Apply detailed style and formatting guidelines consistently across all tasks
- Flag audio segments that are unclear, overlapping, or otherwise challenging
- Ensure proper handling of dialect, colloquial speech, filler words, and non-standard language as directed by project guidelines
- Maintain high quality and consistency across large volumes of transcript work
- Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Native or near-native German speaker living in the United States
- Excellent ear for spoken German across accents and registers
- Exceptionally detail-oriented - you notice the small things others miss
- Comfortable working with word-level accuracy and exact timing
