Job description

If you are passionate about being a therapist but do not want to deal with the billing or administrative part this position is for you! Working in private practice can be lonely sometimes, but with the Helping moon family, you will have a supportive team to rely on. We provide complete insurance credentialing, a steady flow of referrals (get full right away), excellent billing, and administrative support so our therapists can concentrate on doing what they love. We operate as a team at Helping Moon, we meet monthly for check-ins, we have quarterly clinical meetings. Our clinical director is available for support regularly and we have an amazing team that is actively supporting one another. We want you to see your ideal client!

This position is fully remote. The hours are flexible, you build your own schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding clinical services to clients
  • Work with children, teens, adults, couples, families, or/and groups A plus!
  • Develop a strong therapeutic rapport with clients to keep them engaged throughout the treatment process
  • Complete assessments and treatment plans and progress notes for all clients
  • Communicate with other health care professionals such as Psychiatrists and Primary Care Physicians when necessary for coordination of care
  • Communicate appropriate, timely, and accurate notes with the treatment team to ensure proper treatment
  • Write treatment assessments and notes in a timely fashion

Qualifications

  • A clinician who likes the idea of setting their own hours without the anxiety of client acquisition
  • Licensed in FL as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Psychologist a MUST
  • Experience in treating children, adolescents, and families A Plus
  • Certification and or training in play therapy, sand tray therapy, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing therapy, and or DBT is desired but not required
  • Enrollment with CAQH and Insurance Credentialing is a plus but not necessary
  • Minimal computer skills in order to document in our menu-driven EHR system. (Training Provided)
  • The candidate should be dependable and self-motivated
  • Must have your own malpractice/liability insurance
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS
