Job description

Organization Overview:
The Florida Panthers enter their 33rd season in 2026-27 as one of the National Hockey League's premier franchises. As back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in 2024 and 2025, the Cats have emerged victorious in 11 of their past 12 postseason series and have captured four Eastern Conference championships. The Panthers are led by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito entering his seventh season, and President of Business Operations Michael White who begins his first full season.
As the NHL's southernmost team, the Panthers operate four facilities in Broward County, Florida: Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise; the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs; the state-of-the-art Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale; and the renovated War Memorial Auditorium, which hosts concerts and events for the South Florida faithful year-round.
An organization with deep roots in the community, the Panthers are owned by Vincent J. Viola, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Emphasizing a culture of selfless service both on and off the ice, the Panthers pillar program, "Heroes Among Us," honors a United States military veteran at every game. The Florida Panthers Foundation focuses on four core pillars: veterans' affairs; children's health and education; raising awareness for the endangered Florida Panther; and growing youth hockey throughout the region. The Panthers remain committed to empowering our fans to live sustainably and to strengthen the resiliency of our diverse communities throughout Florida and the tri-county area.
Creative Strategist, Partnership Solutions
  • Organization: Florida Panthers Hockey Club
  • Department: Corporate Partnerships
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Amerant Bank Arena, Sunrise, FL - On-Site
Position Overview
The Creative Strategist, Partnership Solutions is a visually-driven, brand-minded role embedded within the Florida Panthers Corporate Partnerships team. The majority of this role lives in creative and visual production. This person owns the full visual output of the department's external materials, from first pitch to final proposal, while also contributing meaningfully to the ideation and architecture of new partnership platforms and sponsorable assets.
The ideal candidate is as comfortable researching a brand's product strategy and campaign messaging as they are translating that into compelling, polished visuals across Florida Panthers partnership inventory. This is an entry-level role for a creative thinker who wants their work to directly influence revenue.
Responsibilities
Creative & Visual Production
  • Own the deck process from start to finish, including all external-facing pitch decks, sponsorship proposals, and renewal presentations built in Visme and Canva
  • Conduct brand research on prospective brands, analyzing current campaigns, product lines, and messaging priorities, to produce visuals that feel native to both the partner's identity and the Panthers brand
  • Create high-quality mock-ups across all Panthers inventory including arena signage, dasherboards, LED and digital assets, branded activations, social integrations, and experiential concepts
  • Leverage AI tools alongside Adobe Photoshop to produce mock-ups efficiently and at volume without sacrificing quality
  • Write compelling asset copy that clearly communicates the value of each sponsorship opportunity and drives the story forward within every proposal
  • Maintain visual consistency and brand integrity across all outward-facing partnership materials
  • Provide occasional Photoshop mentorship to creative interns within the department
Platform Ideation & Asset Development
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to concept, build out, and present new sponsorable platforms including branded events, community activations, and B2B-facing programs that meet both partner objectives and internal approval standards
  • Translate ideated platforms into fully visualized, presentation-ready concepts that the sales team can bring directly to market
  • Work cross-departmentally with Marketing, Game Presentation, Social and Digital, Community, and Foundation to identify new inventory and activation opportunities that can be packaged and sold
  • Support the development of new asset categories by building the visual and conceptual frameworks needed to bring them to life for prospects
Qualifications
  • Degree in graphic design, marketing, sports management, or a related creative field
  • 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, brand marketing, corporate partnerships, or creative agency work
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; working knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign
  • Proficiency in Visme and/or Canva for professional deck and proposal building
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for mock-up creation and visual ideation workflows
  • Understanding of partnerships & sponsorship assets
  • Advanced proficiency in copywriting
  • Strong brand research instincts - able to quickly understand a company's visual identity, product focus, and messaging and apply it creatively to new contexts
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong eye for design with an understanding of current visual and marketing trends
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
