Job description

Job Summary:

The Foodservice Sales team is seeking a dynamic, current college student to fulfill our summer internship program in 2027. The Foodservice Sales Internship will provide a real in-market experience calling on current Grande customers and exploring product penetration while being part of a regional sales team.  It will also provide exposure to the broader industry with distributor meetings, trainings and food shows in addition to building skills in collaboration, customer focus, independent and team-centered work, professionalism, attention to detail, time management, and more.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with Grande Sales Associates and Regional Development Managers to plan and execute weekly customer visits with foodservice operators.
  • Relocate to a designated region to support in-person sales outreach and engagement efforts.
  • Travel to foodservice operators within your region.
  • Order, prepare, and sample Grande products while supporting customer presentations and relationship-building efforts.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records following each visit.
  • Assist with distributor meetings, food shows, trainings, and other sales events.
  • Support customer contact strategies and local market initiatives that help grow relationships and expand business opportunities.

  • Participate in departmental, marketing, and sales meetings.

This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom learning in a fast-paced business environment while developing analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Through collaboration with experienced sales professionals, exposure to cross-functional teams, and participation in strategic projects, interns will gain valuable insight into the foodservice industry and build a strong foundation for future career success.

Unique Benefits of our Internship Program:

  • You will get the farm to fork experience during this program. You will experience a farm tour, facility tours, and experience the end user products.
