Job description

Job Overview

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Software Developer / Programmer (C# .NET) to support the facility’s information systems. The role involves coding, testing, building, configuring, migrating, maintaining, and documenting vendor and in‑house applications to provide business solutions using a relational database management system, graphical user interfaces, and web services on a Windows platform. Responsibilities also include interpreting design specifications, developing and conducting unit tests, assisting with system installation and deployment, following change‑management procedures, producing system documentation, and working on a mixed Agile and Waterfall development team.

This is a 2‑plus‑year consultant position with high probability of long‑term employment. It is remote, but the candidate must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Montana.

Hourly pay rate: $64.00 – $73.00, depending on qualifications, experience, and compensation package composition.

Responsibilities
  • Code, test, build, configure, migrate, maintain, and document applications.
  • Interpret design specifications and develop software.
  • Conduct unit tests and assist with system installation and deployment procedures.
  • Follow testing and change‑management procedures.
  • Produce system documentation requirements.
  • Work within a mixed Agile and Waterfall development methodology.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience required with an associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • 7 years of experience required without an applicable degree.
  • An applicable certification can substitute for up to 1 year of experience.
  • Direct work experience in computer/information technology.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • U.S. citizen only for federal clearance requirement.
