Job description

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Conduct detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy
  • Collaborate with the various departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies
  • Liaise with sellers, brokers, investors, and seller attorneys to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Provide legal support in the acquisition, development, and disposition of properties
  • Maintain accountability for meeting company targets and goals

 

Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Admission to the Alabama state bar (or eligibility to become admitted)
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated accountability and a growth-oriented mindset
