Summer Internship

Summary:

10-12 week summer internship to provide exposure to a fully integrated poultry processor. The internship is intended to provide learning opportunities by working hands-on with mentors and completing an end of program project. Interns may have the opportunity to work in multiple departments and will be required to interact with team members at all levels within the company.

Compensation:

  • Weekly, competitive pay
  • Housing provided on as needed basis

Environment:

Working environments, depending on department, may consist of:

  • Heavy machinery, sharp tools such as knives or scissors, live animal handling, and raw meat production
  • Increased noise levels due to machinery
  • Varying range of temperature
  • Damp and wet environment
  • Outdoors

Education & Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Currently obtaining or have obtained an associate or bachelor’s degree
