Job description

Job Description
Regions Hospital is seeking a per diem CT Technologist to work in both our hospital and outpatient clinic settings. This position performs CT exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for CT exams, administers contrast media, and starts intravenous catheters. The CT Tech also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns.
Work Schedule:
  • Per diem, days/evenings/overnights/weekends. No holiday obligations.
  • Two shifts per month required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.
  • ARRT CT advanced certification within 15 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
