Job description

Regions Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our weekend team. This position performs CT exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for CT exams, administers contrast media, and starts intravenous catheters. The CT Tech also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns. This is a non-union 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period) day/evening shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $37.21-$52.72 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differentials including a $16.25 weekend shift differential.

Work Schedule

  • Day/Evening shift, every weekend, 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of JRCERT accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT approved equivalent

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist

  • Must complete Regions sponsored IV class within 2 months

  • Must complete Regions sponsored basic CT training and documentation within 6 months

  • Must obtain ARRT CT advanced certification within 15 months of hire

  • BLS is required. (must be from an AHA or ALA sponsored program)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
