Key Responsibilities:
1. Registration and Discharge: Expertly manage patient registration and discharge processes using current EMR systems, ensuring accurate documentation, insurance verification, and billing review. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and handle telephone inquiries in collaboration with clinical staff.
2. Clinical Support: Prepare patients for examinations based on their presenting complaints, promptly notify clinical staff of urgent cases, collect and document patient data in compliance with clinic policies, and assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures.
3. Diagnostic Testing and Treatment: Perform diagnostic imaging following established protocols, maintain radiation safety standards, operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, and document treatments and patient responses.
