Alabama Ag Credit, ACA is a financial institution that provides financing for agriculture, agribusiness and rural real estate purchases and improvements. The institution is headquartered in Montgomery with nine offices that service the lower 40 counties of Alabama. With over $1.3 billion in assets, the institution is a cooperative and part of the nationwide Farm Credit System.


Qualifications:


Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Marketing, or related study. Skilled in oral and written communication. Must have excellent interpersonal skills with a customer focus. Proficient in the following applications: Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong work ethic with ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and is a self-starter. Must be a student at a college/university located in the lower 40 counties of Alabama.

Must be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks to support the needs of the team.

Essential Functions:

In this role you will learn to implement the association's marketing strategy and learn to manage multiple priorities in a small marketing department. You will gain experience writing communication pieces, directing video content and hosting events. This role will allow you to interact with key influencers in the agriculture sector and make relationships throughout Farm Credit. Moderate travel required.

Internship Details:

Expected hours per week is 28 hours. Hours of work may be modified based on marketing and branch events. Normal hours of work are 8am-4pm during non-event weeks.

Pay will be $13/hour. Housing will not be provided.
