Interns typically assist with tasks like reviewing loan applications, conducting financial analysis, and learning about loan origination and underwriting processes. This role provides exposure to how private loans are structured, managed, and serviced, offering valuable insights for those interested in finance, banking, or real estate careers. Interns may also gain networking opportunities and a deeper understanding of lending regulations and client relationship management.

As a Private Lending intern, you can expect to support loan officers and analysts with tasks such as reviewing loan applications, conducting financial due diligence, preparing credit memos, and assisting in client meetings. You may also help with market research, analyzing borrower financials, and learning how to structure loan deals. Interns often work closely with senior team members, gaining exposure to real estate or business lending transactions, and developing analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
