Job description

CTP is looking for a Junior Designer.
We're looking for someone with a strong eye for design and a curiosity for how ideas come to life across channels. You're detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to real work from day one. You care about craft, stay on top of visual trends, and are motivated to keep improving with every project.
You'll collaborate with writers, art directors, strategists, brand leads and our video team to bring ideas to life-contributing from early concepts through final production. Whether it's a single, beautifully designed frame or a full campaign across channels, you care about the details and how it all comes together.
In this role, you'll develop high-quality visuals across digital, print, social, and motion-always adhering to brand and campaign guidelines. You'll help design and evolve brand assets like logos, style guides, and visual systems, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint. From resizing and reformatting assets for different platforms to building out full campaign executions, you're comfortable getting into the details while keeping the bigger picture in mind. You will be responsible for using AI tools for content creation, pre-visualization, workflow management, and post production.
You have a strong foundation in design principles and a passion for pushing the work further-bringing fresh thinking, thoughtful execution, and a willingness to explore new ideas.
Qualifications
  • Ability to commute to our Boston office 2x/week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
  • 0-2 years of experience (internships count) in an agency or design environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
    - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required; After Effects and motion skills are a plus
  • Proficient in Generative AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Nano, Flux, Freepik Runway, Figma, etc., as well as having a proactive interest in following and experimenting with emerging technology
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and file prep for production
  • Ability to resize and adapt designs across web, mobile, and print formats
  • A solid foundation in typography, layout, photography, and design principles
  • Interest in concepting and contributing ideas in team settings
  • Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve your work
  • Comfort presenting your work clearly and confidently
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow

Please note, all employees are required to be in-office at our CTP location on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The salary range for these roles is $45,000 - $60,000 annually. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market data. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative, supportive culture focused on delivering breakthrough ideas for our clients.
