Job description

Carved through the Ponderosa Pines of the Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club is a nationally recognized and awarded private club. The Jerry Pate Design Golf Course is currently ranked as one of the top 30 golf courses in Arizona by Golf Digest and #16 in the state by Golfweek. The gated community that is Flagstaff Ranch has been identified as one of the top 100 Gated Residential Communities in America. Flagstaff Ranch is located just west of historic Flagstaff, Arizona. The Golf Course is open for six months each year.
Job Description: Responsibilities include mowing the golf course, raking bunkers, and setting up the golf course for daily play. Throughout the season many different tasks are required that we will train you on. Some landscaping, trimming and pruning. A working knowledge of equipment operation is helpful. We are tasked with doing whatever it takes to provide the best conditions possible each day. This is a seasonal full-time position. We are also willing to hire part time employees.
Requirements: This job requires someone who is physically fit, as manual labor is part of the job. All candidates will be required to have a positive attitude, willingness to learn/work, be a team player, and be able to communicate efficiently. Timely arrival is a must. A valid driver's license is a requirement to be employed.
Season: The Golf Course is open for play from the end of April until the end of October. Depending on the weather, we typically start bringing staff back in the middle of March or the beginning of April and work until the middle of November.
Compensation: $19.00 to $20.25 per hour depending on experience
Experience: Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Golf Course Maintenance or Landscape experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
Individual Characteristics: Dedicated and hard-working individuals who get along well with others. Successful candidates will be trained in all areas of the operation.
