DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This internship provides the opportunity to participate in activities associated with the Department's Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) steering committee and Photogrammetry Asset Management System (PAMS). Responsibilities include:
Conducting research for meeting agendas, updating UAS documentation, and data entry.
Aid in flight planning and control layout for aerial photography missions for geospatial data capture.
Assist survey department in capture of mapping control and mapping test points for quality control/assurance of projects throughout the Commonwealth.
Help current staff in utilizing independent analysis, interpretation, and orientation of geospatial data to develop moderately to complex geospatial and related products within the Photogrammetry Surveys Section.

QUALIFICATIONS
Internship Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll full-time or part-time in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree, or advanced degree program for the fall semester.
- Acceptable majors:
- Surveying
- Geomatics
- Geography
- Cartography
- Must be a Pennsylvania resident or currently enrolled at a Pennsylvania college or university.
- In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Additional Requirements: - You must be able to perform essential job functions.
