Job description

Packet Core Engineer

Introduction: As a Packet Core Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting various core network elements such as EPC, 5 and related functions. You will work closely with the team to ensure smooth operation and interworking between different network components.

Responsibilities:
  • Support IMS/Messaging platforms (SIP, SMSC, MMSC, RCS, VoLTE/VoNR)
  • Own escalations, including end-to-end RCA, mitigation, and long-term fixes
  • Validate interworking between EPC, 5 IMS/Messaging, Transport, and RAN
Requirements:

Required Skills: DNS, EPC, Packet Core Engineer, 5 AMF/MME, UPF/SGW, SIP, SMSC, MMSC, RCS, VoLTE/VoNR, SMF/PGW, PCF/PCRF, UDM/HSS

Preferred Skills: Experience in troubleshooting and resolving network issues, knowledge of industry standards and protocols, strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
