Job Type: Full-Time (30–40 hours/week, W2)

Start Date: Summer 2026 onboarding, with paid in person training in June/July

Compensation: $75+/hour for teaching + $25-35/hour for non-teaching/admin time

Whom we are looking for:

Think Academy U.S. is looking for a Remote Math Competition Coach to teach AIME & JMO level math content. Teachers are expected to understand math concepts, prepare classes based on Think Academy's curriculum, deliver engaging and age-appropriate math lessons, explain concepts, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and use various teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

What You Will Do:

  • Teach AMC10 / AIME / JMO competition problems virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform.
  • Develop personalized training plans tailored to students' levels and goals
  • Create high-quality problem sets, handouts, and learning materials aligned with various competition systems
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, formats, and problem styles of annual math contests
  • Guide and mentor students in preparing for local and international math competitions, including BMT, HMMT, etc

How You Can Be Qualified:

  • Academic background in Mathematics, or a related STEM field (Master's degree or higher)
  • Personal experience in math competitions, with at least qualification to USA Junior Mathematical Olympiad or equivalent level
  • Strong mathematical foundation and deep understanding of competition-style problem solving
  • Ability to explain advanced concepts clearly and inspire students at different levels
  • Passionate about competitive mathematics and committed to helping students excel
  • Prior teaching or coaching experience is a plus
  • Participation in team-based math competitions is a strong plus
Compensation & Benefits
  • Teaching Hours: $75+/hour
