At Tutor Corps and Pacific Preparatory, we believe in the power of 1:1 education in order to support students holistically and inspire a love of learning, confidence, and self-advocacy. Our organization comprises three branches: our accredited homeschool Pacific Preparatory, our after-school tutoring program Tutor Corps, and our nonprofit scholarship program through the Tutor Corps Foundation. We strive to inspire a love of learning in students of all backgrounds and abilities and provide exceptional instruction in all K-12 subjects.
We're looking for thoughtful, dedicated tutors and teachers who value creating meaningful relationships with their students.We take a holistic approach to our work, prioritizing social-emotional learning alongside academic achievement.
Instructors who work with us have a minimum of one year of instructional experience, hold a bachelor's degree, have superb written and verbal communication skills, and can confidently use Zoom and online teaching tools. Teaching credentials are a bonus but not required. Experience working with students who have learning differences is an added benefit.
