Your morning kicks off by opening Esprit, crafting efficient toolpaths for Fanuc-controlled lathes, and preparing a reliable setup so precision parts run right the first time. Throughout the day, you’ll fine-tune cycles, mentor operators, and keep production humming.

What You’ll Do
  • Engineer high‑level CNC programs in Esprit for CNC lathes to achieve customer specifications and repeatable quality.
  • Perform independent setups from the CNC program, ensuring consistent, precision part production.
  • Maximize machine capability and uptime across our turning assets; keep lathes running at peak performance.
  • Deliver a complete first article and submit the inspection report to the QC Manager for approval.
  • Serve as the technical lead for the CNC department—coach, instruct, and support operators.

  • 10 years of machining experience or State Journeyman papers.
  • Proficiency with Fanuc controls and Esprit (including 3D/CAD‑CAM programming).
