Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for designated project(s) to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget parameters.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the single point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and customer suppliers. Act as the communications coordinator for assigned major projects, ensuring effective coordination across all internal departments.
  • Ensure preparation and delivery of customer documentation and project drawings in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Represent the Company at customer and subcontractor coordination and status meetings.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure cost targets and gross margin objectives are achieved.
  • Track and control major components of project costs.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining and executing the overall project schedule.
  • Follow required administrative procedures to ensure successful project execution.
  • Negotiate the settlement of claims associated with assigned projects.
  • Monitor project progress against established plans and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV company policies and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

FACILITY/GROUP-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate customers' technical needs related to rig/drilling equipment and automation/robotics technologies.
  • Provide customers with updates on program technologies and new NOV products or technical solutions (e.g., Cadence, NOVOS, MCDT, RigSentry, CM, etc.).
  • Review and validate information received from customer operations and liaise with appropriate internal NOV groups.
  • Assign responsibility for detailed analysis of customer drilling performance and equipment performance issues by product line and/or customer operation. Report trends and anomalies, and collaborate internally and externally to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Track the closure of program-related action items and provide updates on the status of NOV equipment on program rigs.
  • Utilize company-provided laptop computer and LCD monitors.
  • Utilize company-provided mobile and landline phones.
  • Execute PIBs as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical troubleshooting and repair of offshore oilfield equipment and/or drilling operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be flexible with working hours to meet customer needs.
  • Work outside of normal office hours is common.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook, as well as PDF software.
