This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a strategic talent acquisition professional who combines operational excellence with the ability to build scalable recruiting programs that fuel company growth.

As Director of TA, you will own the global hiring strategy, manage executive vendor relationships, and direct our offshore recruiting execution. You will bring a robust network of specialized GTM agency partners to accelerate key commercial hires while providing active leadership and process direction to our delivery team in India.

  • Develop programs that encourage employees to serve as brand ambassadors and referral champions.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines to support current hiring needs and future workforce growth.
  • Develop strategic sourcing strategies that attract diverse, high-quality talent across all functions and levels.
  • Implement structured interviewing methodologies and interviewer training programs to improve hiring consistency and decision quality.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive candidate experience program, including feedback collection, survey analysis, and continuous process improvement.
  • Develop and manage university recruiting partnerships and internship programs to cultivate early-career talent.
  • Own and maintain Avathon's job description library, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Build recruitment analytics frameworks, dashboards, and KPI reporting to measure performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish long-term relationships with high-potential candidates and talent communities to support future hiring initiatives.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and initiatives that expand access to diverse candidate pools and strengthen workforce representation.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including leadership of recruiting teams in high-growth technology organizations.
  • Proven track record in Sales & Marketing recruiting, with a deep understanding of commercial talent profiles (AEs, SDRs, Field Marketing, Demand Gen, Commercial Leadership).
  • Demonstrated experience managing or directing offshore recruiting teams (specifically in India) supporting a global hiring model.
  • Proven success developing and executing strategic recruiting initiatives at scale.
  • Experience hiring highly technical talent, including AI, machine learning, software engineering, data science, product, and technology leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, employer branding, talent analytics, and recruiting operations.
  • Experience building and optimizing recruiting processes, systems, and interview frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage recruiting metrics and market data to drive business outcomes.
  • Expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Greenhouse.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong project management and execution capabilities.
  • Passion for building inclusive, high-performance cultures and identifying talent that aligns with company values.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with hands-on execution.

Why This Role Matters
