Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to secure sales in the Offshore Maintenance and Repair (M&R) market.  This will include working directly with Oil & Gas Owners, EPCs, Onshore Yards, and Offshore Coating Contractors.

Job Responsibilities
  • Secure coating specifications with targeted Oil & Gas (O&G) asset owners and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms through direct sales and coordination with the International Paint team.
  • Conduct regular sales calls with onshore paint yards and offshore paint contractors to convert specifications into sales.
  • Coordinate product testing programs with O&G companies for offshore Maintenance & Repair (M&R) coating applications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including senior-level contacts.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Management and internal teams to align sales strategies and maximize market opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of customer orders, pricing, and service-related issues.
  • Provide customers with technical guidance and updates on coating technologies and solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, manufacturing, and inventory teams to support customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry seminars, trade shows, and customer events to promote products and technologies.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and professional presence while supporting customer activities both onshore and offshore.

Job Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in the coatings industry, preferably with Oil & Gas exposure.
  • Sales experience with ability to build relationships and secure specifications.
  • Knowledge of offshore coating programs and coating application systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage all levels of customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel to customer sites, including offshore environments while complying with safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Total Compensation
  • The salary range for these skills is: $95,000 to $110,000 + a 35% Annual Bonus
