Job description

HackerRank helps companies like NVIDIA, Amazon, and Microsoft hire and upskill the next generation of developers based on skills, not pedigree. Our platform is trusted by over 2,500 of the world's most innovative companies to build strong engineering teams ready for what's next.
Software has entered an era where humans and AI build side by side. As this shift accelerates, the definition of strong technical talent is changing. We give companies better ways to identify and invest in next-generation skills.
People at HackerRank care deeply about the impact of their work and sweat the small details so our customers can be wildly successful with products they genuinely love to use. We move with urgency and believe great outcomes come from high standards.
About the role
As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a central role in how HackerRank is perceived by prospects and customers. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing and assist with executing high-visibility programs across customer communications, field events, gifting, sales enablement, and customer advocacy. This is a hands-on role with broad scope and real ownership, ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants to build a versatile foundation while working alongside HackerRank's leadership team.
What you will do
  • Coordinate HackerRank's flagship field events, including Customer Advisory Boards, partner events, tech meetups, executive dinners, and conferences.
  • Project manage HackerRank's bi-annual GTM offsites in April and October, helping with logistics, attendee experience, content production, and on-site execution.
  • Support production of marketing emails to customers, including content coordination, HTML build, QA, and performance reporting.
  • Execute customer onboarding email programs, operational customer communications, and quarterly release communications in partnership with Product Management.
  • Manage HackerRank's customer gifting program through Sendoso, including direct to customer gifts, onsite visit gifts, branded swag inventory, and holiday gifting.
  • Own weekly G2 and Capterra review site management, tracking customer advocacy wins, budget, and incentives.
  • Partner with the broader marketing team on cross-functional projects, including ABM campaigns, sales enablement material maintenance, and customer success story production.
Who you are
  • 1 to 3 years of marketing, communications, or coordination experience, including internships and extracurricular leadership for early-career candidates.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with examples of work where you caught what others missed.
  • Strong project management instincts, comfortable juggling multiple workstreams with different stakeholders, cadences, and deadlines.
  • Clear written communicator who can adapt voice for different audiences, from executive customer-facing emails to internal updates.
  • AI fluent, with examples of how you've used tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or others to work faster and produce better output.
  • Comfortable with marketing tech tools, or eager to learn quickly. Experience with HubSpot, Sendoso, ChurnZero, G2, or similar is a plus.
  • Takes initiative to improve processes rather than waiting for them to be assigned.
  • Goes above and beyond on projects, with examples to point to.
Even better if you have
  • Experience supporting B2B SaaS marketing programs.
  • Experience coordinating events, including vendor management and on-site logistics.
  • Familiarity with technical hiring, HR tech, or talent acquisition.
  • Experience drafting in someone else's voice (executive comms, ghostwriting, social media management).
You will thrive in this role if
  • Sweat the small details and hold yourself to a high bar.
  • Anticipate what's needed, clarify ambiguity, and move work forward without waiting for direction.
  • Build trust quickly with internal teammates and external partners through follow-through and clear communication.
  • Genuinely enjoy a fast-paced, varied workload over a narrow, specialized one.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $135,000, including a target 10% annual bonus tied to individual and company performance. You will also receive equity (stock options) and a comprehensive package of cash and non-cash benefits.
