Job description

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIESdevelops and integrates products, engineering support, repair and maintenance services to provide value-added solutions to owners, engineers and contractors.We provide specialty contracting services through our contracting companies, and state-of-the-art proprietary products and engineering support services through our technologies company. With over 2,500 employees working fromlocations nationwide and in select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Transportation Industrial, and Power markets to tackle the toughest construction challenges. Opportunities are available in our Chicago, Columbia, and Houston offices, with remote options in the Charlotte or Chattanooga areas for qualified candidates. This hybrid role combines intentional inperson collaboration with workfromhome flexibility, offering a challenging and rewarding start to your structural engineering career.

In this role, you'll apply and expand your engineering skills while shaping a career path aligned with your interests. We're looking for engineers who want to understand why structures fail - not just design them - and who are eager to be accountable for realworld performance. Supported by experienced mentors, you'll gain handson exposure across engineering and construction disciplines, including:

  • Gain exposure to structural failure mechanisms;
  • Evaluate distressed structures and determine root cause;
  • Decide when repair vs. replacement is appropriate;
  • Design repairs that must be constructible, durable, and safe in live Nuclear or industrial facilities
  • Work side by side with construction teams-not just hand off drawings.

This position offers future career progression to both our business leadership and technical leadership pathways in engineering.

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Education, Certification, and Experience
