Job description

Network & Cybersecurity System Engineer (with DevOps) - Mid/Senior

A-ICE are expanding our current IT Service Management Team! We are a young and dynamic software company, operating in the challenging and exciting market of aviation. With passenger numbers growing, A-ICE are also growing in order to meet the market demands. We are looking for motivated people, with a high attitude toward team working and problem-solving.

Location: Pomezia (RM) · Work model: Hybrid, 3–4 days on-site · Industry: Airports/Air Transport Note: No consultancy/body rental; junior/internship profiles will not be considered.

What you will do (at a glance)
  • VMware and Cisco networking (wired/wireless), monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Operational security: basic hardening, patching, L1/L2 incident management.
  • DevOps: operational automation (scripting), version control, small CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise environments with Microsoft/VMware; Linux is a plus.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of Windows Server/AD, VMware, Cisco.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a team, including with clients/suppliers.
  • Driving license (B), availability for travel (5–7%) and 24/7 on‑call duty (rotating shifts).
  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience); Italian + English B1+.
Nice to have
  • Azure, Veeam, basic DevSecOps knowledge.
  • Experience in airport/airline contexts.
  • Certifications: AZ-104 / MCSA / CCNA / ITIL.
